In the fast-paced world of children’s sports, time goes by so fast. Seeing kids wearing the uniform and putting on sports gear are some of the best, most meaningful moments of childhood. But it’s hard to capture the strength, discipline and determination of our young warriors.
A photograph is more than just a picture. It holds the power to boost confidence and self-esteem. When children see themselves in action, demonstrating their martial arts skills, it reinforces their belief in their abilities. High-quality photos capture the focus, determination, and passion in their eyes, reminding them of the strength they possess. This visual affirmation can have a profound impact on their confidence, not just in the karate school, but also in other areas of their lives.
These images serve as a time capsule, transporting them back to those moments of triumph and camaraderie. As years go by, they can reflect on their growth and remember the friendships formed within the karate school.
Our young athletes and warriors also serve as role models for future generations. We love seeing new students gawk at the pictures on the walls. We don’t use stock photos. We only use images of our real athletes. Our athletes contribute to a legacy of resilience and determination, encouraging others to follow in their footsteps.
We only have a portrait day once every 18 months to 2 years. In our experience, people regret it when they don’t get these photo packages. A sports and journalism photographer for 20+ years, Damon Higgins has taken portraits of some of the world’s best and been featured among the most decorated photographers. Photographer Damon Higgins does a full lighting set-up and custom backdrop.
There are 110,843 photos on my phone and I can take pictures of anything I want whenever I want. But the opportunity to have one image that captures heart, strength, spirit comes around in a flash.
